Lisa Blanchard, MA, LHMC
With a background in both the clinical and administrative sides of behavioral health care, Lisa Blanchard knows that making treatment accessible is key to affecting positive change amid the addiction epidemic. It is a philosophy that she embodies in her role as Chief Clinical Officer at Spectrum Health Systems, where she works to design programming and curriculum for those impacted by substance misuse and co-occurring disorders.
Ms. Blanchard is an experienced clinician with over 20 years of experience in behavioral health administration, including new program development, training, and clinical design. She has implemented several innovative programs and designs clinical services to meet the changing needs of clients served and the evolving healthcare system. She also oversees training for Spectrum and provides training, education, and technical assistance services to other agencies, providers, and local communities. In addition, she has co-hosted Spectrum’s popular Airing Addiction podcast since 2020.
Ms. Blanchard was trained as a NIATx process improvement coach and has served as a NIATx coach and national presenter. She has also worked as a consultant and regularly presents at the national level on innovations in behavioral health treatment. She holds a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from Assumption College.
